We are black and white, young and old, gay and straight, poor and economically comfortable, trans- and cis-gender, with and without disabilities. We come from a range of faith – and no faith – backgrounds.

We join together in community across our differences to worship together and to learn, fellowship, and do the work of justice and mercy in the world.

Since 2000, we have gathered in Avondale as a sanctuary for people seeking a church committed to radical inclusion and engaged faith. We grow in relationship with God, with the city, and with one another. We seek healing and wholeness for ourselves and our world.

We are an Open-and-Affirming Congregation of the Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ.
